My husband and I booked a day trip excursion while on a NCL cruise. Our driver met us at the port and escorted us to his van. The van was... read more very clean. He then drove us to the ferry terminal and discussed a variety of things about the island on the way to the terminal. We then cruised over to Jost Van Dyke. While on Jost Van Dyke, we took a taxi to and visited White Bay. We then came back and made a stop at Foxy's before heading back to the ferry terminal. Our driver, Ralph, picked us up promptly at after our ferry ride. He then took us on a land tour of the island. We made a couple of stops. He was very accommodating to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and would recommend setting up an excursion through Dorna! It was great!

It is on the other side of the island so that is probably fair. The taxi driver there was personable and a good driver, we had a different driver on the way back and we thought we were going to die.
The surf lessons were an awesome experience. The staff does a great job with beginners and wants to make sure you are having a great experience. I was really sick with head cold and had difficulties maintaining my balance, so I didn't do so well and had to take many breaks. The instructor spent his time with my son and made sure he was surfing. They did a great job with this one and I would definitely recommend it to adventure seekers!!!! The beach is beautiful, so take the non-surfers who just want to play on the beach with you because they will enjoy it. The water was really warm and the waves were sporadic in size, but probably just right for beginners. In the end we totally enjoyed it.
